The Clinton Home Foundation, Inc. (formerly The Clinton Home for Aged People, Inc.) was established in 1902 to provide a home for, and otherwise assisting, respectable aged and indigent men and women. Over the years the organization has expanded to administer an endowment fund to provide financial resources for eldercare to the elderly and indigent; to provide funding for services to the elderly and indigent including, but not limited to, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, homemaker services, and meals on wheels; to assist, fund and provide financial resources for existing eldercare facilities providing services to the elderly and indigent; and to sponsor care giving facilities and provide financial resources for associations and institutions that deliver services to promote the health and welfare of the elderly and indigent, promoting literacy and providing financial assistance and enrichment to associations and institutions that combat illiteracy and encourage scholarship.
